In Antigonish and Guysborough Counties we have two (2) permanent Social Worker positions and one (1) term Social Worker position.  We have an office conveniently located in each county and the staff of both offices work collaboratively to provide quality client service to our residents. 


Antigonish is a small town rich in Gaelic and Acadian history and home to Saint Francis Xavier University, known for excellence in academics and sports.  The university adds diversity to the population and an international feel that is reflected in the many boutiques, restaurants, and art venues.  Both Guysborough and Antigonish Counties are ideal for those wanting to escape to nature with an abundance of hiking trails, kayak friendly waterways, spectacular beaches, provincial parks and captivating scenic views.  Antigonish and Guysborough counties have much to offer as a place to live, raise families, start or settle your career and explore all nature has to offer.

Pay Grade:  PR 09 - PR 15  


Salary Range:  $2,099.96 - $3,250.64 Bi-Weekly
