About Our Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Planning the Administrative Coordinator supports the effectiveness and efficiency of three Divisions: Policy and Planning, Engagement, Equity and Belonging, and Corporate Services. The three divisions will rely on your ability to multitask and manage changing priorities on tight deadlines to keep our teams on track.

Primary Accountabilities

 

This position is responsible for tracking correspondence and internal approval documents, supporting the departmental agreements development process, developing correspondence, organizing information, processing appointments to Agencies Boards and Commissions and supporting records management. Other administrative functions include processing departmental mail, and tracking and monitoring of invoices, supplies, and related purchases.

Qualifications and Experience

 

Successful completion of a business/secretarial program plus three years of comparable experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.

  • You have proven computer skills including using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

 

Records management experience would be considered an asset.

Pay Grade:  CL 18  

Salary Range:  $1,684.00 - $1,884.17 Bi-Weekly
