About Our Opportunity


Reporting to a Managing Director, the role of Client Service Director is one of being the primary client relationship manager within our service delivery model.


Primary Accountabilities


By representing the PSC at client senior executive tables, they help ensure our services are responsive to client and business needs.  They lead small teams of HR Business Partners and nurture a culture of performance coaching to give team members confidence to innovate and respond to the diverse needs of our clients.  This role works collaboratively with other leaders across the PSC to ensure a holistic system perspective in how we resource and deliver all human resource solutions. 


Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this position you will bring with you a bachelor’s degree in a related field with progressive experience in providing client centric human resources consulting and partnering within a complex organization and a unionized workplace.  


Demonstrated experience in successfully coaching direct reports, executive teams or project teams. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. A proven track record for delivering innovative and flexible human resources services and programs.   Technical proficiency in software applications such as MS Office and related HR business applications.  Demonstrated flexibility, diversity and innovation in how you lead and deliver client service.  Travel throughout the province may be required.

Working Conditions


  • Normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day
  • May be required to work overtime on occasion
  • Typically located in an office environment, may require travel, particularly when conducting mediation, investigations, or training
  • Mental pressures include managing deadlines and competing priorities, information gathering, analysis, and problem solving
  • Often works in situations of conflict or otherwise sensitive matters
  • Need for difficult conversations and exertion of influence to resolve workplace issues

Pay Grade:  EC 13 

Salary Range:  $3,548.79 - $4,425.55 Bi-Weekly
