About Our Opportunity

 

As the Coordinator, Operational and Service Excellence (O&SE,) you will be part of a highly motivated team and be responsible for the primary accountabilities outlined below within the vibrant O&SE corporate deployment. The deployment delivers a variety of services, programs, and training in partnership with business areas across government and your role will be integral to delivering efficient and seamless operations. Primary Accountabilities

Some of the primary accountabilities in this role include: 

 

  • Coordinating all aspects of the O&SE deployment that includes but not limited to the development, implementation, operations, evaluations, identifying gaps, improving, growing, promoting, reporting, events, and updating the deployment. 
  • Managing the O&SE SharePoint platform that include organizing, updating, improving, maintaining, and tracking the deployment performance using visual management principles on the platform to ensure the different elements of the deployment are functioning effectively. 
  • Automating processes using Microsoft Power Automate integrated with other Microsoft Office Suite software including SharePoint.
  • Administering financial services for the deployment such as invoicing, purchasing, recording, reporting, liaising with the finance area, and others.
  • Managing the communication hub for O&SE with business areas, staff, stakeholders, and any others.
  • Researching, analysing, and recommending the latest techniques, software, and methodologies to improve the O&SE deployment.
  • Organizing and overseeing the O&SE training through the Learning Management System.
  • Interviewing, counseling, and assessing the potential interested parties and recommending the right O&SE offerings to resolve their business pain points.
  • Managing the O&SE contracts with vendors.
  • Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of the O&SE deployment offerings to continuously improve the offerings. The offerings include business process improvement Lean Six Sigma services, programs, and training, and any others in support of the business areas.
  • Supporting the business process improvement experts during their partnership with business areas. 
  • Managing the deployment operational annual calendar of events, planning, and organizing different activities within the deployment and the O&SE team.
  • Continuously improving processes to support effective deployment delivery and implantation.
  • Any others as assigned for the purposes of the deployment operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, you are passionate about operational excellence and effective quality service delivery. You possess exceptional interpersonal and business relationship skills. Proven experience in leading improvement initiatives and resolving business pain points, coupled with an ongoing drive for process improvement, is essential. You successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a bird’s eye perspective. Efficient working both independently and within a high-performing team, in either remote or office settings are critical. Additionally, you thrive in diverse and positive environments.

 

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year or more of similar experience to the above primary accountabilities.
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from a reputable organization with at least 1 year of process improvement experience using the principles.
  • Significant working and demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Outstanding coordination, organizational, and planning abilities.   
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and nonverbal, in building and maintaining business relationships.
  • In depth and demonstrable knowledge of managing a SharePoint platform including the back end of the platform.
  • Passion for continuously improving the way of operations.
  • Multitasking skills in working on multiple tasks, strong time management, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to effectively meet business objectives.

Equivalency

Applicants relying on education and experience equivalencies must demonstrate such equivalencies in their application.

-2 year college degree + 3 years of experience

-5 years of related experience

-1 year diploma + 4 years of experience.

Pay Grade:  PR 06 - PR 10  

Salary Range:  $1,924.95 - $2,760.42 Bi-Weekly
