About Our Opportunity


Reporting to the Manager of the Corporate Records Management group and working with a team of other Analysts, a Corporate Records Analyst (PAO 1-2) contributes to the development, implementation and advancement of corporate records management for both departmental and government wide programs. 


In this role, you will provide advisory and consulting services tailored to meet corporate and departmental needs. You also research and develop records management policies, procedures, guidelines, classification and retention schedules, training plans, presentations, and other documentation to support the effective management of government records.  A Corporate Records Analyst will also provide one-on-one and group training to government departments and provide expert advice and assistance in implementing electronic records management and record keeping solutions.

Qualifications and Experience


As the successful candidate, you possess a Bachelor’s degree in related field (i.e. information management, records management) with at least one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Please describe your experience in:


  • Writing records management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Developing classification and retention schedules
  • Creating training plans, presentations and other documentation
  • Using standardized records classification systems

As well, please demonstrate how you have:

  • A familiarity with the Government Records Act, Public Archives Act and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Well developed time, project management and analytical skills
  • A focus on client service delivery
  • The a Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • A good general knowledge of information technology.


The following would be considered an asset:


  • Experience with IBM FileNet Enterprise Records software.

Pay Grade:  PR 06 - PR 10  

Salary Range:  $1,805.02 - $2,588.45 Bi-Weekly
