About Our Opportunity
In this role you will join the Operational and Service Excellence (O&SE) team, within Government Services. The team leads the O&SE deployment across the Province. The team partners with business areas in identifying their business pain points and resolving the pains by implementing business process improvements initiatives. Primary Accountabilities
Some of the primary accountabilities in this role include:
- Manage, develop, and find improvements to the O&SE SharePoint site.
- Assist in the development of O&SE programs and services, roll outs, and evaluations.
- Assist in creating, managing, and facilitating training offerings and simulations for business areas' stakeholders.
- Coordinate the implementation of various programs and services.
- Guide business areas and colleagues through the O&SE programs and services.
- Collaborate with team members on multiple high-stake projects.
- Create visual promotional and communication materials.
- Work with Adobe Creative Suite to stretch your imagination and innovation.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Power Bl to present data in a visually appealing dashboard.
- Explore Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and AI to improve O&SE operations.
Qualifications and Experience
You are a postgraduate student, currently enrolled in a business, management, technical, or a related postgraduate program and returning to school in the next applicable semester. This opportunity lasts for 8 months starting from June 2, 2025. You also possess the following:
- Experience in administering, promoting, and interpreting programs or services.
- Demonstrated abilities in planning, organizing, and coordination.
- Above average verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in building and sustaining interpersonal and business relationships.
- Excellent visual skills and acumen.
- Time management and tasks prioritization skills among competing needs.
- Savvy with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Creativity and innovation are second nature.
- Curious and swift learner, takes personal initiatives, and expands boundaries.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
The following will be considered assets:
- Exposure to business process improvement principles such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Continuous improvement oriented, continuously challenging status quo.
- Exposure to software such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Adobe Creative Suite, Power Bl, and AI.
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.

Pay Grade: HOURLY
Salary Range: $25.64 - $29.69 Hourly
