Overall Purpose

Reporting to the SAP Product Manager, the SAP Product Lead, Logistics Services plays a pivotal role in shaping how core SAP functions—such as procurement, inventory, and asset management—are delivered across government. This is a strategic, cross-functional role ideal for someone who understands the inner workings of ERP systems and is ready to guide their evolution in a collaborative, user-focused environment.

If you're an experienced SAP logistics professional interested in digital delivery and eager to grow your product leadership skills, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence a province-wide ERP landscape. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to lead enhancements, prioritize user needs, and guide continuous improvements across SAP S/4HANA logistics modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product lifecycle for SAP logistics services, from identifying opportunities to implementing continuous enhancements
  • Translate evolving business needs into clear requirements and features within SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on MM, IM, and EAM modules
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and technical teams to co-design scalable, user-centered SAP solutions
  • Apply ERP best practices to support logistics modernization across supply chain, procurement, and inventory management workflows
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap by advising on trends, opportunities, and risks in the SAP ecosystem
  • Leverage data, user feedback, and performance metrics to improve product delivery and operational efficiency
  • Support agile delivery cycles, ensuring feature development is iterative, collaborative, and aligned with enterprise needs
  • Coach colleagues and team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and the growth of SAP product capability across CSDS

Qualifications and Experience

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in SAP Logistics, strong communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a modern, user-centered ERP environment.

You will ideally bring:

  • A  bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in roles related to ERP or digital service delivery—this could include work in SAP logistics, supply chain systems, inventory management, procurement workflows, or similar domains. Experience contributing to or leading SAP implementations (ECC or S/4HANA)
  • A collaborative working style, with experience engaging cross-functional teams, vendors, and end users
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

It’s also a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with functional configuration and system integration.
  • SAP certifications in Procurement, Inventory, or EAM (S/4HANA)
  • Familiarity with SAP tools such as Fiori, Solution Manager, or ABAP
  • Experience in agile delivery environments
  • Large enterprise project experience

Not sure if you meet every qualification?
We recognize that this role draws on a mix of skills—spanning SAP functional expertise, ERP delivery, and digital product thinking. While you may not check every box, we’re open to different combinations of experience that demonstrate your ability to succeed in this space. If the role aligns with your strengths and interests, we encourage you to apply and tell us how your background fits.
