Overall Purpose

Reporting to the SAP Product Manager, the SAP Product Lead, Logistic Services, oversees and is accountable for the complete product lifecycle, from inception to launch, including continuous improvement and product iteration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluates new product opportunities, develops, and executes comprehensive product strategies that align with the government's vision and citizens' needs.

 

  • Strategize on product plans, conduct market and customer research, define the product vision, design the product roadmap, and plan the supply chain.

 

  • Acts as an intermediary and collaborate with public and private partners to ensure clear product requirements and specifications meet business goals and user needs.

 

  • Prioritizes these requirements for the product team and translate them into new product features for design and development teams.

 

  • Leverages analytics and data driven insights, to make informed decisions, continuously refining the product to optimize performance and meet key metrics.

 

  • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members and scale product management within CSDS and Government.

 

  • Fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes growth and knowledge sharing.

 

  • Deliver in the agile and internet-era ways of working.

 

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in these roles, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science with a minimum of 6 years related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
 

  • Experience with SAP ERP or S/4 HANA implementations.

 

  • 6 years + hands on experience with SAP functional domains – Material Management (MM)/Procurement, Inventory Management (IM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

 

  • Demonstrated experience of 6+ years in product management of software products.

 

  • Experience integrating product analytics into decision making.

 

  • Excellent problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

 

  • Experience in leading small projects and/or teams.

 

  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external business clients and partners.

 

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required, as well as demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, peers, and management.

 

  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities.

 

Assets

The following are assets to this position:

 

  • Proficiency in SAP technologies, tools, and methodologies, including Fiori, ABAP, and Solution Manager.

 

  • SAP Certifications (S/4 HANA – Procurement, IM, EAM).

 

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Certification, or a Business Analysis Certificate.

 

  • Knowledge of project management methodology, ITIL processes, Records/Information Management and IT Security policies and procedures in Government.
