About the Role
You’ll join the Resources and Transportation team where you’ll be collaborating on one or more projects with Service Designers, Developers, Project Managers, and others to deliver new and evolving digital services for a variety of government programs. You are a subject matter expert in business requirements analysis, business process re-engineering and continuous improvement. You act as a champion for user needs. Within this role you can expect to step into a strong team environment with excellent peer support.
Primary Accountabilities
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible to:
- Lead and conduct business analysis activities for the delivery of digital products and services;
- Identify and document opportunities for transformation and improvement;
- Develop an understanding of the users' needs;
- Define user stories based on evidence;
- Work with product managers and business partners to create, maintain and prioritize deliverables;
- Lead change through influence and collaboration across the organization in a highly fluid environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Leading business requirements analysis and business process transformation;
- Documenting current and future-state business processes, functional requirements, information flow analysis and process modelling;
- Knowledge and experience in business analysis methodologies, digital service design, and delivery;
- Application of agile methodologies;
- Consensus building and team building skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels;
- Facilitation, negotiation, and acting as a liaison with clients, stakeholder teams and senior management;
- Problem solving, analytical thinking, and decision making, and managing complex and competing needs;
- Strong written and verbal communication;
- Experience in supporting and/or performing functional testing, coordinating user acceptance testing, and analyzing formal test results.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience.
