We are recruiting dynamic and highly skilled leaders for Regional Executive Director of Education (REDE) positions in each of the Tri-county, Annapolis Valley and Strait Regions.

 

As the REDE, you enhance the engagement of home, school and community so each student can reach their fullest potential. You are an outstanding educational leader and advocate for student learning, equity, well-being and achievement. You have a proven track record in creating an inclusive environment for all students and in developing partnerships that enhance the student experience. You value diversity and are dedicated to the principles of social justice and equity in education. Highly strategic and innovative, you have a record of success driving bold changes that have broad system impact.

 

With your strong financial acumen, strategic planning, human resource management, and influencing skills you provide support and guidance to a highly professional team. Your collaborative management style and respect for the contribution of all staff will inspire a high level of achievement. You bring significant experience as an outstanding teacher and administrator, building an education system that keeps students and their learning as the central focus. 

About You

 

You are an innovative educational leader with a Master of Education Degree plus 6 years of progressive management experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience at a senior level is also required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.

 

You demonstrate a depth and breadth of school system leadership experience. Experience in both the elementary and secondary levels is an asset. We also want to hear about your process for maintaining professional and positive relationships, as our stakeholders are vital to success. Effective and persuasive communication skills that connects with our diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be key to your success.

Pay Grade:   

 

Salary Range:  $124,001.00 - $161,200.00 Annual
