Primary Accountabilities

-Work with deputy registrars to create business use cases and requirement documents.

-Contribute to the development of Privacy Impact and Threat/Risk Assessments.

-Act as the liaison between the program, Cyber Security and Digital Solutions (CSDS), and internal/external service providers to ensure that program requirements are effectively addressed and project goals are achieved.

-Coordinate acceptance testing of system changes for program functionality and data.

-Prepare project status reports for the program owner.

-Work with CSDS, managing and prioritizing program enhancements or changes that vary in nature and are often conducted under tight deadlines.

-Define program priorities for IT and IM improvements, on-going operations

-Clearly articulate program objectives and program requirements in detailed designs and overseeing requirements for program application changes / improvements to CSDS

-Act as the primary business liaison between the program and CSDS program support

-Ensure program requirements are clearly documented.

-Work in conjunction with CSDS Architecture and the Deputy Registrars on Data sharing, data privacy, data quality, data security, data standards to ensure the program perspective ( land ) and corporate perspective ( architecture and Geonova).is applied to decisions and development in those areas.

-Contribute to data sharing discussions and projects to support land and property program requirements, program data integration within the department, the integration of GIS and attribute data and corporate data sharing initiatives at all levels of government. 

-Provide support to the CSDS Program Manager in the area of specialized data knowledge to the CSDS Program Manager on the day to day running of the Land Programs Systems and IT Service Continuity.

Other accountabilities

-Define program driven requirements for complex data mining and report requests.

-Work in conjunction with CSDS Application Support and Deputy Registrars on the investigation of data defects.

-Define the priority of requests for minor system enhancements and fixing of identified defects and data quality initiatives.

-Assist with external evaluations and/or audits of overall program performance.

-Work with CSDS to define data mining routines and track data quality for the purposes of program QA/QC.

-Oversee the data quality requirements for electronic interfaces with various programs and agreements with other agencies (e.g.: Municipal Units, PVSC, etc).

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you hold a bachelor's degree in business, law, information technology or a related discipline with a minimum of six years related experience.  An acceptable combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be considered.

 

You have demonstrated the ability to develop and implement new strategies for streamlining work processes and improved service delivery.  In addition, you are highly motivated and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to meet stringent deadlines and be self-directed.  You must have proven problem-solving skills and be able to function well under stress and respond enthusiastically to new challenges, effectively leading change management initiatives.  Further, you also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills, well developed leadership skills in a team environment, and be customer service orientated. Demonstrated ability in organizing/executing multiple responsibilities successfully is essential. High degree of proficiency in computer software programs is also a requirement.

 

Formal training and/or practical experience in project management and progressive management experience are considered assets.

Pay Grade:  PR 17  

Salary Range:  $3,107.16 - $3,649.33 Bi-Weekly
