About Our Opportunity

The Database Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced Database Administrator who has hands-on, enterprise-level experience working with Oracle and MySQL in UNIX environments. This role plays a pivotal role in architecting and safeguarding our most critical Oracle and MySQL environments on UNIX platforms. Your expertise will ensure our systems are robust, secure, and ready for tomorrow’s challenges.

You’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, patching, and maintaining these environments, while also optimizing performance through workload analysis and tuning using enterprise tools. Your work will empower cross-functional teams and enable modernization across the organization. In this role, you’ll build and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability configurations, keeping our data resilient and accessible.

When complex incidents arise, including high-impact issues after hours, your troubleshooting skills will make a real difference. You’ll manage user access, roles, encryption, and database-level security controls, acting as the gatekeeper of our data integrity. Leading database migrations whether upgrading hardware, moving to new versions, or transitioning to the cloud, will be a key part of your impact, ensuring seamless continuity and driving our evolution.
Automation is at the heart of our operations, and you’ll have the opportunity to streamline routine tasks using scripting, freeing your time for strategic projects and innovation. Your attention to detail will shine as you maintain comprehensive documentation for installations, patching workflows, and recovery procedures, creating a legacy of knowledge for the team.

Collaboration is essential, and you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including OS, network, application, and Cloud/DevOps specialists, to deliver integrated solutions that move the organization forward.

You’ll follow ITIL processes for changes, incidents, and problem resolution, ensuring excellence in every aspect of service delivery. Your expertise will solve real problems and have a visible impact across the organization.

You’ll find opportunities for career progression, professional development, and work-life balance. Whether you’re actively seeking a new role or simply open to the right opportunity, this position offers the chance to leave a lasting mark.

If you’re ready to influence the future of infrastructure and work with a team that values your expertise, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
