About Our Opportunity
As a member of Tourism Nova Scotia’s consumer market team, you will work in collaboration with communities and industry to attract visitors to the province and increase tourism revenues through marketing and content development. We lead tourism marketing initiatives to benefit all regions of our province.
You will plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor marketing programs that support partners in the areas listed above. You will recommend program participants, give feedback to the marketing agency, participate in photo/video shoots, evaluate media plans, manage advertising creative and content development. You will be responsible for partner/agency communication and budget management to ensure timely creative delivery, and that content shoot details/deliverables and campaign timelines are met. You will analyse content and media plans and provide program optimizations to partners and offer program recommendations and advice to management.

Qualifications and Experience
You bring with you a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations or Tourism plus 5 years related experience in areas such as marketing, advertising, content development, marketing program development and implementation.

You possess exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. You are self-directed, take initiative, and value creativity in a team environment. You have sound experience using Microsoft programs, especially Excel.

Requirements for this role include,
- Experience working on digital marketing campaigns (management, coordination, approval, implementation, reporting, etc.)
- Experience working on photo and video shoots (ensuring shot lists are followed, making decisions based on brand requirements, directing photographers/videographers, working with other marketing agency staff to advocate for a partner)
- Experience selecting content, providing video and photo feedback and edits
- Experience working with creative assets to ensure creative standards are met and to provide feedback to partners
- Experience working with partners in a tourism capacity to collaborate on projects and offer advice and guidance

Working Conditions

Pay Grade: PR 13
Salary Range: $2,805.63 - $3,410.48 Bi-Weekly
